Adapted from a recipe found in the World Wide Recipes list, this works really well in the crockpot - put all ingredients together and forget about it for the next several hours.
 

1 cinnamon stick
16 whole cloves stuck into an orange
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
6 cups cider
2 cups cranberry juice
1 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon aromatic bitters

Place all ingredients in the crockpot and let simmer for the next 3-4 hours on low (if you want to speed it up, turn to high for the first 45 minutes to an hour). This will make your house small great!

Note: the original recipe called for 1/4 cup sugar - I thought it was too sweet and recommend leaving it out.

Add 1 jigger rum to each cup if desired.  Serves 10-12.
