| These are easy to make, very light, and they will
melt in your mouth. Cream together until light and fluffy.
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup vegetable oil
Add:
2 eggs
Beat into sugar-butter mixture. Add the
following dry ingredients:
4 cups plus 4 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla
Mix all together, roll into balls and press flat
with glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 375°
for 6-8 minutes.
