I remember my mom making this salad dressing frequently when I was a kid - for years I tried to remember the ingredients, knowing that there were four of them all added in the same quantity. Recently I got out Mom's recipe box and was going through it to try to find another recipe, and found this - ta-da!

1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup catsup (ketchup)
1/4 cup salad oil
1/4 cup vinegar

Shake all ingredients together in a covered jar or salad dressing bottle.

(Note: when I was a kid, we typically used this on a salad of iceberg lettuce and as I remember, Mom added pineapple chunks and/or banana slices to it. It would be good on any type of green salad that has a fruit added to it.)
