Our son, Doug, whipped this
up for us once about 10-12 years ago and I just
happened to be watching closely enough to capture the recipe. Don't leave the lime
juice out, and use the green chile in a quantity and heat to your own taste preference.
3 ripe avocados, peeled and mashed
2 Tablespoons fresh lime juice - more if desired, depending on sweetness of
limes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green chile (or one small can)
1 small tomato, chopped
1 jalapeno, finely chopped, if desired
Mix all ingredients together - serve with tortilla
chips, etc.
