This
is a ground spice mixture found in many Indian recipes.
You can buy it or prepare your own; the flavor is obviously better when
it is freshly ground in small amounts.

Tablespoons black peppercorns
1 Tablespoon black cumin seeds
1 small cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 teaspoons cardamom seeds
2 Tablespoons coriander seeds
Mix
all ingredients together in a coffee grinder and grind to a powder. Store in a spice jar or Tupperware.
