Painted Desert
The Petrified Forest National Park includes the protected portion of the Painted Desert.
One of our early stops was at the Painted Desert Inn overlooking the desert at Kachina Point; we saw several ravens while in the Painted Desert (either that or this one followed us everywhere!).
